On October 23rd, we celebrated Gabby's second birthday with some of her friends. We had a ladybug theme, complete with very strange-looking homemade ladybug cupcakes (sometimes I forget that I am not a very crafty mom). For games, we had coloring and dot stickers on ladybug pages, a ladybug hunt (searching the house for ladybug cutouts with licorice on the back), and pin-the-dot-on-the-ladybug (which turned out to be a bit confusing for the two-year-old crowd). All in all, Gabby had a great time and hopefully the other kids did, too!
Ice cream push-ups. The cleaner way to go.
Opening gifts. She LOVES every single gift she received.
Even Claire had a fun time hanging out.
Gabby with her new doll, a gift from Tori.
After the party was over, Gabby explained to Claire that one day she too will get to have a birthday party.

So cute and sweet! Makes me think about when my kids were little and we had sweet themes. My oldest turns 16 this month...we are having a "Glowing Sweet 16" party complete with laser tag, glow necklaces, black lights & disco ball. Cherish the sweet moments you have. They grow faster than You realize!
What a cute idea! You are a very crafty mom even if you don't think you are. Your girls are getting so big. It's amazing how time flies when you add a second child to the mix. We will be having Amy's 3rd birthday in a few months and that seems almost impossible to me!
Looks like it was a great party. Wish I was there. Two more weeks!
Adorable. It looks like it was a big hit. Love Gabby's grey tights.
Cute happy Claire...she's getting so big.
PS - You are crafty, those cupcakes look great.
