30 Days (and 30 Long Nights)

This canvas was created for our family by Lori Morrison, another adoptive parent. The four people represent Luke on his mother's back, Andre holding her hand and their grandmother walking behind. (Lori has an Etsy shop called "WorthTheWaitCreation" if you would like to see her work.) We have this hanging in the boys' bedroom, next to the giraffe that Andre picked out while we were in Congo.
We are now up to date on thesupermanclub.blogspot.com!

Lost File?

Every morning when I put on my necklace I say a little prayer in my heart for my boys on the other side of the world.
A new post: www.thesupermanclub.blogspot.com. Also, if the blog isn't working for you in the Chrome browser, try Safari. (There are still some technical difficulties that come from being private until the boys come home.)

More bad news was issued yesterday via the Department of State. I have posted it on The Superman Club.

DRC Travel Warning

I didn't take this photo, but this is exactly what daily traffic looks like in Kinshasa.
Just thought I would share the info that was posted last week by the US Embassy in Kinshasa. These are the warnings we are dealing with. Some brief additional comments are on The Superman Club.

The Superman Club is Going Private

A Kenyan schoolgirl.

For those of you reading our adoption blog, "The Superman Club", we will be making the blog private until the boys join us. With reports of children going missing in DR Congo between adoption and going home, we feel it is better to be safe (and I want to be able to share photos of our trip!).

If you would like to view our blog while it is private, please email me at the.superman.club.family@gmail.com or post a comment below. Thanks!
