We recently went on a little weekend road trip to Portland, Oregon and had a great time. We met up with some relatives, went to a Brian Reagan show (hilarious), visited some falls and spent time at their children's museum. We stayed downtown and got to know the city a little bit, too. Portland gets a thumbs up in our book!
The highlight of Multnomah Falls for Gabby must have been these steps that we had trouble convincing her to leave behind.
There was plenty to do at the Portland Children's Museum. Gabby played many roles, including veterinarian, dentist and potter, but if I were to decide her future career based on that day, it would be none other than a grocery clerk. Yes, she particularly enjoyed working behind the cash register and I seem to recall a few tears being shed when the museum closed and she was still busy ringing other kids' items up. Way to dream big, Gabby. ;)

Who needs a Children's museum when you have a bucket?
Looks like a great museum. I love those shots of her at the waterfall.
We like Portland too...
