I guess before I fill you in on our most recent vacation, I better give some of the pre-vacation highlights. One of which was the zoo. Gabby got to meet up with her friend Tori and had a blast. Gabby is not generally a fan of animals (sometimes when she sees a dog coming toward her she hits a high note that I think only that dog can hear). However, the fact that they were behind a glass wall or a fence certainly helped her build her confidence in the animal kingdom.
While the animals were indeed exciting, they did not even compare to the joy of the carrousel.
My favorite moment was when the girls decided to go into a cave. Once they were in there, they heard the sound of a bear growling (a speaker, of course) and started running the other way as fast as possible, frightened as could be. I love that zookeepers have a sense of humor....
