Carving (and Pounding) Pumkins

While Jen was traveling, Jason took the girls to the school for a daddy-child pumpkin carving night. Gabby was quite proud of her ghost pumpkin because even though daddy did all the work while she ran around - she still chose the design.  The following Monday, for Family Night, Mommy got to join in.  We needed two more pumpkins so we quickly stopped by our local grocery store and picked up two more pumpkins for a fourth of the price of the one we slaved over the week before at the pumpkin patch.  Huh.

The girls did a Lite-Brite type of effect with their other pumpkins and did a great job pounding in their designs.

They were fascinated by the candle most of all.

Love Claire's expressions; and Jason sure knows how to handle a knife!
